VOA: "Facebook shareholders ask company leaders for more accountability"

Facebook has been under the spotlight in the wake of surmounting issues around privacy and user data. Activist investors have written various proposals to disclose information on the gender pay gap and a content report that would hold Facebook accountable to its terms of services. At the initial outset, these proposals appear to have been voted down (official results will come in the near future). Nonetheless, Natasha Lamb of Arjuna Capital maintains that these proposals are worthwhile in order to send a message to management and the board. Read more at VOA News.
