Julia Cedarholm, MPA

Senior Associate, ESG Research & Shareholder Engagement

Julia joined the team in 2021 as the Senior Associate of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Research and Shareholder Engagement. In this role, she supports integrating ESG into Arjuna’s investment process and shareholder advocacy efforts. Her passion for social finance, sustainability, and social justice inspire her work at Arjuna. 

Prior to joining Arjuna Capital, Julia received her Masters of Public Administration (MPA) with a focus on social impact, innovation, and investment from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in May 2021. While in graduate school, she focused on sustainable investing strategies as a fellow at the Intentional Endowments Network and intern at Boston Common Asset Management. Before graduate school, Julia was the site director for an education equity nonprofit, UrbanPromise Charlotte. 

Julia earned her B.A. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is from Charlotte, North Carolina and currently resides in New York City. She enjoys yoga, any outdoor activity, reading, and traveling.
